Database are an online jazz resource providing timely, interesting information
to the jazz professionals and jazz audience of the world. Our site and database
cover the all aspects of the jazz industry.
Jazz World Society was founded January 17, 1983 in New York City, USA by
Jan Byrczek and is incorporated in Delaware. Society is the outgrowth
of the International Jazz Federation, co-founded by Jan Byrczek in Europe in
May 1969.
In June 24, 1985, Jazz World Society initiates development of the Jazz World
Database.
In March, 1998, Jazz World Society goes online under the domain name
jazzsociety.com
In March 2000 Jazz World Society enters a cooperation to further develop the
JazzSociety.com site with the Polish Japan Institute Of Computer Technology in
Warsaw, Poland.
Jazz World Database
Jazz World Database is an offspring of the International Jazz Federation (IJF)
initiated in 1965 by Jan Byrczek .
Since its inception organization has specialized in providing service essential
to jazz business. With over 50,000 records it is the largest jazz database in
the world
